Just another frozen yogurt shop? 21 Choices begs to differ

Now, 21 Choices frozen yogurt isn’t new, but in this latest boom of froyo led by Pinkberry, it has certainly been eclipsed. Granted, it doesn’t serve the same kind of tart flavors on a regular basis as Pinkberry does, but it does win points in the creativity category. With rotating flavors like Malibu rum coconut and Animal cookie and the option of “mix-ins” a la Cold Stone Creamery, 21 Choices is a genius combination of frozen yogurt and ice cream and toppings and yummy, yummy goodness all in one retail storefront. And best of all, there’s one right by my office!

New farmers market at USC

Since I started work at USC, I’ve been on the lookout for good, or at least decent, places to eat lunch. Then, lo and behold, a farmers market pops up a few weeks ago at the Shrine Auditorium nearby. I was so excited and went to check it out the very first day. What I found was a great collection of everything from fresh produce to clothing to made-to-order foods to jewelry — and even the Gastrobus food truck.
